Allouez Catholic Cemetery is located at:
2121 Riverside Drive
Green Bay, WI 54301
Green Bay's earliest Catholic settlers were first buried at LaBaye Cemetery beneath what is now the location of the fire department at the intersection of North Washington and South Adams Streets in downtown Green Bay. From 1834 to 1835, development of the new Town of Astor required relocation of LaBaye Cemetery's interred to Allouez Catholic Cemetery.
Established in 1822, Allouez Catholic Cemetery was first known as "Shantytown Cemetery." Built above the east bank of the Fox River, the cemetery, amidst the natural beauty and serenity of its surroundings, has offered peace, comfort, and faith both to those who come to rest and to those who come to remember.
*Pay by cash or check the day of the event.
